Knowledge Resources /
The United Nations Rule of Law Website and Document Repository seeks to provide UN staff, other practitioners and the general public with knowledge resources to assist in building their understanding of and skills in rule of law work. This section affords access to the tools, materials and documents, and practical information on jobs, knowledge exchange networks and training, available in the rule of law field today. While the principal focus is on UN knowledge resources, the section is designed to also be an avenue for UN practitioners to more easily access the various external rule of law resources available.
This section includes a glossary of terms and words commonly used by the United Nations in rule of law work; the United Nations Rule of Law Database Repository containing official UN documents and publications and UN rule of law guidance and policy materials; direction to additional databases on rule of law and related issues; an archive of past news items, announcements and focus articles from the United Nations Rule of Law Website; institutions providing global rule of law training for practitioners, as well as listings of current UN jobs in the rule of law field; information on some of the major rule of law practitioner networks and other relevant networks; and key links to the websites of organizations and actors referred to within this website.
If you have additional information relevant to this section, we encourage you to submit recommendations to the Rule of Law Unit.
